Someone recently asked me a question that inspired this reflection:
I’ve been tuning into what’s being asked of me in the next few weeks, and prosperity is coming up strongly. Are you feeling the same?
It aligns perfectly with the upcoming Rebirthing session, which will focus on the crucial 6-7 year period of our lives — a time when dreams, desires, and aspirations first take root. At this stage, we begin to grasp whether our wishes are fulfilled or denied, shaping our early experiences of joy, hope, frustration, or sadness.
For some, it wasn’t just desires that went unmet, but fundamental needs — love, kindness, attention, and affection. This absence planted the seeds of deep fear and loneliness, compelling us to bend over backwards for acceptance, believing it was necessary for survival. This is one of the most common roots of trauma.
For some, the demands were met. Always. This also leads to distortion as the responsibility is always assumed by someone else. This keeps us in a state of immaturity, unable to take full responsibility and control, with complaints and frustration abounding when things don’t go as planned. It’s also where shame can first take root, shaping our perceptions moving forward.
This phase of life instills one of the fundamental lies about who we are and how we relate to the environment and ourselves. Deep fears are embedded, such as the fear of wanting something you couldn’t have or the shame of being bold with your dreams and desires. Patterns set this early in our lives often keep us locked in cycles of blame and shame, limiting us and turning us into what society might call an “Average Joe.”
The fear of being different or not fitting in may not yet be fully developed, but the denial of our divinity and the suppression of our right to demand the best for ourselves lay the groundwork for these insecurities to take root later on.
During the Rebirthing session, we will work to release the deep subconscious patterns that perpetuate these behaviors and beliefs. This transformative experience will help you reclaim your connection to your inner creator, allowing you to step out of the shadow of fear and into the light of your true potential.
