Dear Beloved Sangat, The 9th of October is a truly sacred and joyous day – the birthday of Guru Ram Das Ji, the fourth living Guru of the Sikh tradition. Guru Ram Das Ji was the embodiment of compassion, selfless service, heartfelt devotion, and spiritual strength. He is often remembered as the Lord of Miracles. Out of his boundless love for humanity, Guru Ram Das Ji gifted us a special mantra that carries his essence and name – a mantra capable of awakening miracles. The birthday of a saint is a unique and blessed occasion: when such a soul takes birth, a divine beam of light enters the earth. Even after their physical passing, their subtle presence continues to bless us. On this day, by chanting this mantra, we can attune ourselves to Guru Ram Das Ji’s light and magnify its effects in our lives. To honor this sacred time, we will recite this mantra together for 11 days leading up to October 9th, beginning each morning at 6:00 AM BST for about 30 minutes. Reciting together as a community multiplies the blessings manyfold – each voice adding to the collective vibration of devotion and healing. On Friday, 9th of October we will chant it as Jappa for 2,5 hours. It's an experience like no other, which allows us to implant a positive vibration of higher frequency into our subconscious, so it radiates light, spreads healing and upliftment.
