As we move into the Christmas season — a time that can bring both joy and tension — it’s a powerful moment to pause and check in with our nervous system. Ask yourself: • When someone cuts you off in traffic, do you feel your body tense or your heart race? • When your children test your patience, or your partner says something sharp, how quickly do you react? • During family gatherings, when an old comment or habit triggers you — a judgmental remark, a comparison, or unsolicited advice — can you stay centred, or do you find yourself snapping, withdrawing, or trying to please everyone? • How long does it take you to return to calm after being thrown off balance? These everyday moments — especially around Christmas — reveal the current state of your nervous system. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to build emotional resilience, expand your capacity to stay grounded, and recover more quickly from stress — so that even amidst the busyness of the holidays, you can meet life with steadiness and grace. We’ll use light exercise, breath, and mantra to balance the glandular system, release deep-seated stress, clear the mind, and move energy into all the hidden corners of your body.
