Venue: Brockenhurst Village Hall
Sessions based on Kundalini yoga, so very gentle but powerful enough to keep you in good balance of body and mind.
Very very loving space. I have run these over the years and pregnant mamas love it, plus they create a bond with other mamas in the area.
6 weeks long, then might continue if more interest
Looking forward to welcoming you in the class.

In our classes we use yoga postures that best suit in the process of preparation for labour. Every asana can then be used in Active Labour, like hip openers and ones that relieve pressure on the lower back. During each session we will repeat some specific exercises, so Mothers-to-be can develop useful habit, which will assist her during contractions.
We use pranayam (breath pattern), meditation and relaxation to help adjusting to change, relieve tension, increase the flow of oxytocin (hormone of bonding and love) and help sustain lung expansion.
Our pregnancy yoga is based on Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Every kriya (set) is aimed at a specific aspect of life, i.e. set to relieve anger; electromagnetic field and the heart centre; for lower spine and pain elimination; for the glands the circulation and the meditative mind and so on.
3 minute challenge arm meditations that practiced in the class specifically designed to help become more familiar with the length of a contraction, to build up the nervous system and stamina.
Making the most out of your practice.
It is handy to have a blanket and a bottle of water ready for the practice and some cushions or blocks to make sitting on the floor more comfortable. You are welcome to use chairs available at the hall.
